This is a lovely flat route from Barmby Moor out to Allerthorpe, Thornton and Melbourne. Through Melbourne we then turn left down Kidd Lane to the end before a right and up to the crossroads. Here we go straight over and take a turning right to Storwood after the Pig in the Willow. This is a lovely little Hamlet bringing us out at Hag Bridge. Here we turn right to Sutton on Derwent, right past the tennis club and then a left to Newton on Derwent. A right turn down a quiet lane brings us to the busy A1079. A very narrow path on the left alongside the A1079, is rideable for confident riders but best to get off and push a short way before crossing the main road . A lovely leafy lane brings us to Feoffee Lane where we cross and up to Yapham Road across past the cricket club and back to Pocklington for a well earned coffee and cake

A lovely flat route around our country lanes

Coffee in Pocklington at the finish

Helmets essential , spare inner, pup and water bottle
