This route is a clockwise circumnavigation of Maidenhead, stopping at the Poached by Saints cafe, 130 Wessex Way, Maidenhead. This is in a residential area not far from Ockwells Park. The outward journey takes in Holyport, while the return leg goes via Pinkneys Green.
The route is a mix of on and off road, and some stretches are not really suitable for road bikes with narrow tyres.
Estimate 17 miles with 350 feet of climbing.
The route might be changed if circumstances dictate.
Please bring a serviceable bicycle, suitable clothing, helmet, spare inner tube(s) and other puncture repair stuff if you have it (pump, tyre levers). Also bring money/card for the cafe stop if you intend to buy anything.
The weather should be more springlike, so a water bottle will also be good.
It is described as steady because of the distance, but we always wait for slower riders.
