Coypool

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They're up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour. A great starter ride for all abilities and all types of bikes. Starting at the Park and Ride Car park at Coypool, we will head up the Plym Valley trail, this is an all tarmac cycle route, running beside the railway, it continues up through Plym Valley Woods on a very steady incline to the Viewing platform at the Caan Bridge, which has spectacular views over the cliff face, where the birds nest. The return journey is back down the path to the car park. Even if you do not own a bike, there is bile here available at the Car park ( see www.plymouthbikehire.co.uk ) for details. As a charity the National Trust rely heavily on membership subscriptions and admission fees. For every visit your local National Trust Centre will receive some of this money to fund their conservation work so please let us know if you are a member. For more information and becoming a member please visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk Look forward to seeing you there!
