Stonehouse/Devonport

You don't have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you'll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you're comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour. A briskly paced ride from Devil's Point, overlooking Firestone Bay, Drake's Island, and Mount Edgcumbe, and taking in some of the wonderful parks and heritage sites of the old towns of Stonehouse and Devonport before heading north of the city toward the airport. We then travel down into the beautiful Plym Valley, meandering through the Saltram Estate and the Historic Barbican, and climbing up to finish with the panoramic view from Plymouth Hoe - great photo opportunity so please bring your camera. This ride is perfect for confident riders looking to take their riding a little further.
