Planes, Boats and Automobiles (STEADY)

Instead of travelling by Plane, Boat & Automobiles, we will be spotting them along our route!

This ride is a long distance challenge for ladies who want to have a go at going further, the ride will be at a every steady pace (and may take til around 19:30) it will not be rushed and no one will be left behind...they will also be some shortcuts if necessary so don’t worry x

If this pace does not suit do not worry ...please see the Planes, Boats and Automobiles (STANDARD) ride as this will be around 13 mph

We will exit Chesterfield via the canal path (weather permitting), climb up towards Bolsover, taking in the views of Clumber as we pass through, heading towards our first cafe stop (~25 miles) at a lovely cafe to watch the planes flyby, then taking a circular route around Workshop our second cafe stop will be at The Black Lion pub in Firbeck (~50 miles) and finally return to our starting point...we will have so deserved that cake!

Please Note:
Unfortunately, this ride is not for beginners...
- This ride is suitable for those who are confident on the road, as there will be lots of automobiles and some busy stretches...if in doubt ..this ride is not for you (no offence)
- There will be toilet facilities at the cafe stops & the end (if we are back in time)
- Helmets are compulsory for this ride.
- Bring plenty of water/snacks/gels/money/repair kit/inner tube(s)...kitchen sink etc.it will be a long day!
- Wear appropriate clothing suited to the English weather!..good luck with that!
- There will be hills....but we will take our time and rejoin as a group at the top when I catch up with you all!
