This is a scenic 18 mile loop beginning from outside the entrance to Bells Sports Centre on the North Inch Perth. We then follow NCN 77 along the banks of the Rivers Tay & Almond to Almondbank and then onto Pitcairngreen. From there we continue left on the Methven road before going right over Dryarch Road. Then it's right to Redgorton before another right over to Pitcairngreen. We then head back to Almondbank and Huntingtower to join the cycle path back to the North Inch.

This route is primarily on car free cycle paths and quieter village or back roads nut does cross the Crieff Road twice. You might encounter the occasional rolling hill along the way, it won’t be anything too taxing

All participants must wear a helmet and weather appropriate clothing. Also recommended is a spare inner tube the right size for your bike and any tools needed to remove your wheels in case of a puncture.

No cafe stops planned but we'll take breathers as needed!l

We never leave anyone behind.

If you have not been out on your bike recently it may also be prudent to check the tyres for air ahead of the day so as not to have a last minute discovery of a flat tyre.
