Pit to Posh - History and Heritage - 40 miler

This is a circuitous route around a string of Pit villages of South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire leading to the country estates known as 'The Dukeries'. Having traveled the beautiful undulating countryside from one county to the other the route runs alongside the wildlife haven of Welbeck Abbey Estate Lake and through the South Gate of Clumber Park. Owned and cared for by The National Trust, a genuine welcome , coffee and cakes are guaranteed!!!! Back through the East gate and onto the market town of Worksop. Round to Dinnington before returning to the start.This ride offers tests and challenges to all who take it on.
