Pinner Arts Week - Jeremy Deacon and West House

This is an easy ride around the quiet roads and parks of Pinner and the western part of Harrow, taking in the Open Studio of Jeremy Deacon as part of Pinner Arts Week http://pinnerartsweek.com/artists/studios/jeremy-deacon/. The ride is suitable for beginners and anyone who wants to build confidence on a bike. We shall begin from Daisy's cafe at West House, go south to the Croft Open Space, and along Cannon Lane to cross Roxbourne Park and a tributary of the River Crane. From there we make our way across West Harrow Park to Harrow Town Centre, via designated cycle routes. The next park is Harrow Recreation Ground, then the historic buildings of Headstone Manor, after which we come back into Pinner and cross Pinner Village Gardens before arriving at Jeremy Deacon's studio on Eastcote Road. After a 15-minute taster visit we will finish our ride at Daisy's cafe for coffee and a chat. You can then see the Arts Week exhibition in the upstairs gallery of West House, if you wish, at your leisure. All visits are free of charge. Please ensure that your tyres are pumped up before the ride and your brakes work. Helmets are not compulsory, but please bring water, a lock for your bike and some money for refreshments.
