Pinner Arts Week - Carole Griffin and Heath Robinson Gallery

This ride is part of the Pinner Arts Week Breeze Cycling Festival, and visits the open studio of Carole Griffin http://pinnerartsweek.com/artists/studios/carole-griffin-rba/ and the Heath Robinson Gallery at West House. It is a gentle ride with a gradual climb. Breeze rides always go at the pace of the slowest. We shall cycle via Little Common to Carole Griffin's studio in Waxwell Lane for a 15-minute taster visit. Then we cycle across Pinner Park Farm, the only working farm in Harrow, to Harrow Weald and Wealdstone. We cross Byron Recreation Ground and cycle up the Belmont Trail, the disused line of the 'Belmont Rattler' train from Wealdstone to Stanmore. Our ride then takes us through quiet roads around Stanmore Golf Course and back through Harrow Weald to a welcome cup of coffee in Hatch End. We return to Daisy's along quiet roads, and you can visit the Heath Robinson exhibition in West House and the Arts Week exhibition upstairs at your leisure. All visits are free of charge. Please ensure that your tyres are pumped up before the ride and your brakes work. Helmets are not compulsory, but please bring water, a lock for your bike and some money for refreshments.
