Starting from - We will meet outside Max Gate. There are no public toilets here, but car parking is free in the residential roads near here. It is also a short bike ride from Dorchester South train station, via cycle paths from St. Mary's Catholic First School on Lucetta Lane. DT1 2FN

Starting from Max Gate on the edge of Dorchester, we will follow NCN route 2 along cycle paths and quiet country lanes until turning off towards Lower Bockhampton.

After a pause at Kingston Maurward for a picnic and wander around the gardens, we will then return the way we came.

Please bring whatever food & drink you'd like at the picnic. There is a cafe at Kingston Maurward to buy something if you run out of time to prepare anything, so no pressure!
