Picnic & Activities in the Park

Bring your bikes, your children and a picnic and enjoy some outdoor fun during the summer holidays. After meeting at the Meriden Community Centre we'll take a gentle pace along cycle paths to the Watford Cycle Hub in West Watford. This is a safe route along cycle paths which children should be able to enjoy, all ages are welcome but it is worth noting that the route takes around 45 minutes each way. We plan to stop at the Watford Cycle Hub for around an hour and a half to give us plenty of time to enjoy our picnics and for the children to have some fun with some games / activities. Then it's back along the cycle paths to the Meriden Community Centre. Additional Information: Helmets are advisable but not essential for adults, however must be worn by all under 18's.
Children under the age of 5 do not have to book and must be in a BSA approved child seat, trailer or tag-a-long. Bringing a bottle of water, a waterproof jacket and a little money is always useful (Tea & coffee is available at Watford Cycle Hub for a small donation). If wet then we will be able to picnic indoors at Watford Cycle Hub.
