Petes Lumpy Canal Ride To Rivington

Another one of Pete Welsh's rides . We head out from Leyland up through Buckshaw Village and pick up the canal heading towards wigan where we will peel off and head through Adlington and up to Rivington . We will stop at The Village Green Tea Rooms before heading back a slightly different route . Please note there are a few hills in this ride , not quite as many as The Ribble Ring . This ride is more suited to MTB/HYBRID/CX bikes due to the canal paths . Normal rules apply ,ie check your bike over the day before , and its not a race its a ride social .
