A quick Peterston loop, starting at the earlier time of 17:30 and a different location near the Insole Court entrance on Fairwater Road. Let's meet beyond the entrance, at the junction signposted for the ski centre, where the path is wider and we can keep our social distance at the start.
We'll head out to St Fagan's first then out through St Brides and Peterston as usual, but after passing the Sportsman's Rest pub we will turn right, and do the main loop backwards compared to usual. This is a harder climb, but means we go up to Clawdd Coch crossroads instead of down the bumpy descent. A couple of little ups and downs on the way back, and should be back before sunset.
Please bring lights as sunset is around 19:10, we will be in country lanes, and we want everyone to be visible if it's starting to get dark, especially on your way home after the ride.
Remember to bring a drink and a snack as there is no coffee stop planned on this ride. Also please bring spares and tools in case of a puncture, check your bike over before coming, and always wear a helmet!
