This is a scenic 17 mile loop beginning from outside the entrance to Bells Sports Centre on the North Inch Perth. We then follow NCN 77 along the banks of the Rivers Tay & Almond to Almondbank & Pitcairngreen Then its a climb out of the village and down towards Redgorton. From there, its up through Batelby and Moneydie to over the hill taking us through the Lyndoch dry arch.

A short climb between Pitcairngreen and Almondbank sees us then head downhill back to the North Inch.

This route is on car free cycle paths and quieter village or back roads. You will encounter hills and need to be able and confident in the use of your bikes gears

All participants must wear a helmet and weather appropriate clothing. Also bring whatever you require to fix a puncture on your own bike. The evening daylight is getting shorter, so everyone must have working front and rear bike lights.

If you have not been out on your bike recently it may also be prudent to check the tyres for air ahead of the day so as not to have a last minute discovery of a flat tyre.
