PENRHYN CASTLE SERIES: Sunday Social, Beginners Ride, Breeze Taster

Part of a seres of free winter rides for women from Penrhyn Castle. Come and join us for this 5 mile ride through the Castle grounds and cycle path.
We'll finish the morning with a trip to the Castle cafe.

This ride would suit any women who fancy a chilled and sociable morning cycling with others in the lovely setting of Penrhyn Castle. Also, good for women who are relatively new or returning to cycling and would like to build up their confidence & fitness or see what Breeze rides are all about.

We’ll have some time at the beginning of the ride to help with gears, saddle height, pumping tyres up etc. We’ll then go at an easy pace through the Castle grounds, along the cycle track and a short distance back to the castle along a quiet lane. Its relatively flat and suitable for all.

You’ll need to bring your own bike and be able to ride this distance - we’ll go at a pace to suit everyone & take plenty of breathers. Suitable for all bikes (including e-bikes). Please bring a helmet, money for the cafe & clothes appropriate to the weather.

There is no entrance fee to the Castle, but if you are a member of the National Trust please bring your membership card to scan at the Visitor Centre. Penrhyn Castle are kindly allowing us to cycle through their grounds and have access to their cafe but we do need to stay together as a group.
If you would like to look round the castle itself you will need to purchase a ticket from the Visitor Centre if you are not a National Trust member.
