HSBC UK National Cycling Centre, outside the main front entrance

This challenging but leisurely paced out-and-back ride follows quiet country lanes through the Medlock valley before passing through the outskirts of Daisy Nook and over Hartshead Pike, where you'll feel a world away from the hustle-and-bustle of Manchester.  There's a well earned café stop at either Saints café or Newbank Garden centre in the picturesque village of Uppermill before enjoying the route back to the Velodrome.
This ride has some challenging hills, each rider can ride them at their own pace and we will regroup at the top of each climb, with the last rider up deciding when we set off again.
Please be aware if you are good on the hills you may be waiting for a little while.
This ride is best suited to road bikes/ hybrid bikes with road tyres.
