There are off-road and on-road parking spaces available at the entrance to Parkwood Springs, where Cooks Wood Road joins Shirecliffe Road.

Parkwood Springs is one of the best-kept secrets in Sheffield. It should become the centrepiece of the Outdoor City. This outstanding 13 miler, which is suitable for adventure bikes, commuters, cyclocross, gravel bikes, hybrids and mountain bikes, offers you the opportunity to expand your muscles and mind. An officer from Sheffield City Council should be at the Parkwood Springs Forest Garden at the end of our ride to pass on winter pruning tips. There’s a picnic planned, too. We also cycle around Kelham Island, so there are plenty of opportunities to be fed and watered.
