Participating in the rising sun loop and want a bit more?

Starting from - Starting from the mini roundabouts in south gosforth, beside the 'sky' banner, postcode NE3 1QL. Plenty of parking around here for anybody driving to the start. We'll head east on a waggonway that starts at the roundabouts, picking up another track that takes us straight to the rising sun, a quick ride to the top of the hill for its spectacular view and then drop down to the car park for the start of the rising sun sky ride, you'll have to sign up on this website to participate in the sky ride! Once that has finished we'll be returning, possibly on a different track back to the south gosforth start. The terrain is a mixture of tarmac, light gravel and dry mud (usually!). Not including the distance covered on the sky ride this should be under 12 miles, unless you all want to make it a little longer? I can oblige. NE3 1QL
