Starting point

London
HA1 1BB

The route is fairly flat - there is a big of a hill at the very end of the ride as we head to Pinner.
The ride is around 13 miles and around 9mph. Please ensure that you can ride this distance and at this pace. If you are not sure, please ask.

There will be a mix of tarmac and trail so hybrid (grooved) or mtb (knobbly) tyres are best. There is a mix of quiet park routes, slightly busier side roads, traffic light junctions, and dedicated cycle lanes.

We leave Harrow and head to Northwick Park and South Kenton tube before heading back up past Sainsburys through Kenton Rec before joining the top half (less muddy) bit of the Belmont Trail before joining the busiest section on the route up Old Church Lane to Stanmore and then to Headstone Manor Rec up through the farms before crossing George V Avenue and up the hill towards Pinner before a lovely down hill section before heading to Daisy's for a well earned break. We will head back to through Harrow rec where the ride end at Harrow on the Hill Tube Station.

The ride is aimed at women who are want to improve/enhance their cycling skills and road position - and the roads on Sunday mornings are the best time as it is the quietest day of the week for traffic. Or if you just want to have guilt free cake :)

We go through the following parks: -

Northwick Park
Kenton Rec
Byron Rec
Headstone Manor Rec
Pinner Memorial Park
Harrow Rec
