Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

This is a Special ride for members of Palace and Penge Women's Institute, their friends and family. We are raising funds for The charity Wheels for Wellbeing, so donations are welcome, either on the day or via our special fundraising page https://www.justgiving.com/PalaceandPengeWI Children are welcome on this ride, either in appropriate carriers, or if competent cyclists. All under 16s must be accompanied by Parent or guardian. A ride along the Waterlink way to Ladywell fields. This is an ideal ride for beginners and families, being mainly off road, through cycle paths and parks. We will meet by the Flag pole inside Cator Park. Parking is available in Aldersmead road, and Kent House Railway station is nearby. The route is a national Cycle route, going through parks and quiet roads, to the lovely Ladywell Fields, home of One Thousand Hands Café, where we will stop for refreshments. Non cycling members are welcome to join us for refreshments at the café. This can be easily reached, as the park is adjacent to Ladywell Station. We should be there by 11.30am.
