Our Easy Breezy ride for July will see us transverse a quite road and then tracks to Hetton Lyons Country Park. We will admire Durham Spray Paints artistry, then cycle down to the water side, admire Ray Lonsdale's train, hopefully see Llamas being walked and watch the skills of our younger prodigies on their bikes while we enjoy a cuppa and eats. We'll return back to Sherburn Leisure Centre the same way as we went.
As with all our rides, we do strongly recommend the wearing of helmets and you carry 2 spare inner tubes that will fit your tyres in the event of a puncture. You should also ensure that you are dressed for the weather conditions which are very variable at the moment.
Our ride is 10 miles long and I estimate we will be out for 2-2½ hours.
