Starting from Leverhulme Park we head towards Radcliff where we pick Outwood Trail heading South into Drinkwater Park. We then cross the River Irwell to get on the Salford Greenway to Monton. From Monton we ride along the Bridgewater Canal stopping at RHS for a café stop. Heading North from the canal we ride through Higher Folds and Tyldesley eventually reaching Cutacre Country Park. After a short stretch along the A6 we pick up the Roe Green Line back to Bolton. The route may well be quite muddy in sections and whilst most of it is along cycle paths there are some unavoidable sections on busy roads.
