Oswestry circular

We will leave Chirk and head downhill to the roundabout. We will get on the cycle path and then head towards the quiet lanes of Henlle into Gobowen. From Gobowen there is a 5 mile stretch of a busier road into Whittington, Babinswood and West Felton. From West Felton we head into Maesbury Marsh and towards the Maesbury industrial estate. From there we head into Oswestry and then into upper Hengoed and Weston rhyn and then back to our start point in Chirk.

A nice circular route from Chirk into Oswestry on some lovely lanes. The pace will be around 9-12mph

This ride will mainly be on country lanes but there will be some busier stretches which we will take extra care on.

We can stop anytime during the ride the plan is to stop at Caffi Wylfa after the ride but there are lots of other places we can stop at.

Helmets are mandatory. Please also bring a spare inner tube. If you wish to purchase anything from Wylfa they do not take cash only card but please don’t feel obligated to buy anything as you’re more than welcome to bring your own. Please bring a drink and or snack.
