In the absence of the ever enthusiastic Monsieur Robinson we propose an interesting off roader this Friday. The route is fiftyish miles pretty easy really starting at Costa's Gateacre, Loop Line to West Derby, Croxteth Park, Coach road and on to lunch at nice cafe in Ormskirk. From there some road over the marsh to Ainsdale then the lovely trails through Formby and Hightown along the Sefton coast with some new freshly surveyed tracks which will blow your mind! Mtb's cyclo cross, even hybrid's with fattish tyres will do! So give it a go! See the countryside properly, not keeping your eyes on motor cars.
