Tokyngton Recreation Ground

This route takes place in a green oasis with great views of Wembley Stadium and the nearby Ace cafe. The route has some twists, turns and small slopes to help build your confidence, offering an unique opportunity of cycling in all traffic-free paths.
This short bike ride is also a great way to reduce sedimentary lifestyles and combat issues relating to lack of exercise. This friendly social ride aims to target mature riders (over 50's) who want to cycle but they are very apprehensive to ride their bikes on busy roads. We strongly believe this short ride will help you to gain confidence as you will ride without the pressure of vehicles on the road. This ride is also ideal for those just getting into or returning to cycling.
The route gets it's name from the three small bridges over the River Brent which you'll see along the way. Without a doubt this short bike ride will motivate riders to make London greener, healthier and more pleasant place to live - Keep an eye out for the Wildlife Area in Tokyngton Recreation Ground, you never know what you might see!.
