This is a pleasant and relaxing route from the
View Tube Café (toilets and bike hire available) making use of the towpaths and cycle paths of East London. At the start of the route you can enjoy spectacular views of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from the sightseeing platform from which you will see the 2012 Games Stadium, the Acceleror Orbital Tower, the London Aquatics Centre and in the distance the Lee Valley VeloPark with its iconic Velodrome.
The route makes use of the towpaths along the Hertford Union and Regents Canal and along the route you'll pay a visit to Victoria Park, one of the oldest parks in London, before looping back round to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
All participants are expected to bring:
• A bike in good working order with tyres pumped to the correct pressure. Please conduct a pre-ride
