Alexandra Park. Oldham

Starting in the Victorian town park of Alexandra Park, which was built by the people of Oldham during the cotton famine sparked by the American Civil War, you'll follow a traffic-free route to Park Bridge Heritage Centre. For nearly 200 years Park Bridge Ironworks was a thriving family business, employing hundreds of people and exporting iron and steel around the world. A fascinating route full of local history.
