Old Weston taking the Roman Fayway to Titchmarsh, into the Nene valley around Thrapston, Islip, Aldwinkle, Oundle (coffee 10.45), Cotterstock, Fotheringhay, Tansor, Rectory Farm (lunch 12.15), Hemington, Thurning, Clopton, Old Weston

If the weather is rubbish I'll shorten the route

A pretty ride from Old Weston mostly in Northamptonshire down Fayway Roman road along the Nene Valley and back through the Ashton Wold to Old Weston. ~12mph average.

Mostly back roads and B roads, with a very short cycle/foot track which can we walked of preferred (avoids an A road)

We stop to wait at top of hills. We also plan a stop possibly at 2 locations : coffee at Oundle Lemon Tree at 18m, Rectory Farm cafe at 27m, back to cars at 40m.

Helmets, lights, snacks, drinks, pump, spare tubes & tools
