30 miler - Sharnbrook to Olney

A 11-12mph ride in Cambridgeshire/Northamptonshire/Bedfordshire to build up our distance for the summer.

The aim is to get back into longer rides, in a relaxed way, warming up for Summer

Will finalise route on the Wednesday based on weather. Can share gpx file.
A few hills, mostly rolling/ not too hilly around here.

There are 4 rides on Saturdays 9.30 : 18 April, 2nd May (WEST), 30th May, 13th June
4 likely routes in any order :
West : Old Weston - Thrapston - Oundle - Old Weston : Cafe stop the lemon tree in Oundle
North : Old Weston - Giddings - Folksworth - Thurning : Cafe stop at Rectory Farm
South : Kimbolton - Riseley - Keysoe : Cafe stop at Keysoe International
South West : Sharnbrook - Harold - Olney : Cafe at Carlton or Harold

15-24miles (weather & temperature dependant) at 11-12 mph average. Route decided on Wednesdays. Starting at 12.30 to try to avoid frost and fog and possibly get more sun / warmth! The aim being to keep the legs turning through winter with a nice gentle chatty ride in company!

Back roads and some b roads but not off road.

Likely no cafe but unless a longer ride but option for a hot drink at Jos after. Stopping at top of hills to re group.

We won’t leave anyone behind but please check you can do the 11-12mph average, or folk get too cold staying as a group.
