AL5 2FR

This ride is aimed at anyone who is new to Breeze, or would like to gain confidence after a break from riding. The route is mainly on quiet country lanes, and is mostly a gentle ride. BrewHouse Hill is a toughie, so we will wait at the top for anyone who prefers to walk it! (Don't let it put you off!)

We will be heading out of Harpenden via East Common and on to Wheathampstead via Nomansland

Most of the route is on quiet country lanes. There is one short stretch of busier road through Wheathampstead, but we will guide you through it.

We will stop at the wonderful BrewHouse on Brewhouse Hill in Wheathamstead for a coffee and a natter

Please make sure that you have a spare inner tube in case of a puncture, and check the night before that your tyres are well pumped up, and your bike roadworthy. A helmet is obligatory on this ride. A water bottle, money for the stop and enthusiasm are all that is required otherwise!

We welcome newbies and will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider. Any hills can be walked and we will stop regularly to regroup and catch our breath.
