Nowton Hawstead Lawshall

This route starts out from the centre of Bury St Edmunds towards Nowton Park.
From Nowton Park, there is a slight incline towards Nowton Village,
Then there are several hill to climb until we reach Hawstead Village.
The route then takes us up the hill at Bells lane and along to Lawshall village.
Once we reach Lawshall Village, we will turn back towards Hawstead Village and Bury St Edmunds

A semi challenging route. Starting at Angel Hill, we will ride out to Nowton Park, and then take on the hills winding up to Hawstead Village, turning onto Bells lane we will have another climb to the top of this hill. Its plain sailing then along country lanes to the village of Lawshall . From Lawshall we will turn to start our return journey, stopping at either Maglio Rosso cafe or coming down to the friendly loaf, before returning back to oour original start point.

Once we get to Nowton park we will be cycling along country lanes.

Ww can stop for coffee and a catch up at either Maglio Rosso or at the Friendly Loaf cafe. Both serve delicious drinks and food. We can see what the group wishes to do on the day.

A bike in good working order. Helmets are needed dress for the weather and bring a spare layer
