Starting point

Nottinghamshire
NG6 0GZ

A ride along the Rivers Leen, Trent and Canal on shared paths off mainly tarmac and/or compacted mud/gravel. The first stretch along Hucknall Road is undulating but thereafter we largely follow the water ways so essentially flat. We will stop about halfway around at the cafe within the Jubilee Campus for a drink.

Route rating

5 stars (1) Reviews

This ride is entirely within the city itself, running along the River Leen, River Trent and the Nottingham-Beeston Canal. It is 80%+ plus off road. As a civil engineer I have good knowledge of the bridges and structures that we ride past or under so its informative as well.

The route is 80% plus off road but does include some junctions where we will ride in formation to navigate our way.

We will make 2 or 3 stops along the River Trent and canal to highlight some key historical facts.

Helmets are recommended, especially as we are riding on some roads.

We never leave anyone behind
