This ride is a mixture of on/off road route, using quiet roads, off road trails and Thames Path.
Spare Tubes, cycle pumps are
pucture repair kits are strongly advisable for this ride.

Cycle helmets are required (there will be no exceptions)for this ride and all other BBCG rides, as participants saftey is paramount on this groups rides.Route might be subject to change dependant on weather conditions, on the days leading up to the start of the ride or on the morning of the ride.
Most suitable bikes for this ride are hybrid bikes.
Light weight racing bikes with little or no tred are not suitable for this ride, due to off road sections.
We especially welcome newbies and never leave anyone behind.
All timings are estimates and are dependant on the abilities of riders present on the day of the ride.



Route to be determined on the day, subject to weather conditions and abilities of the riders on the day.
*We will ride at the pace of the slowest rider! The slowest rider will be at the front the group, guided by myself, this is order to keep the pace manageable for all, under no circumstances will the slowest person be overtaken by members of the group, this is a tried and tested method, that has worked perfectly well over the last few rides.
Contrary to popular belief, the pace of these rides has not changed over the years, we have always travelled at a pace between 8-10mph.
