NOT a women only xmas day ride.

Assumptions, a great ability has it's problems however. It appears that, in the the Nottingham area at least, the skyride project has been won by Team Breaze (the ladies section) for providing regular rides and (expanding hopefully) core interest. Team general managment however have failed to provide anything for the none racing just out for some fresh air, just received a ride to work bike etc, male. PS NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS ARE IMMINENT, this is a major activity change opportunity! Making far to many assumptions by now. I feel that the breeze management needs to be invited to advise (& possibly move some people on) re filling that embarrassing void. THE RIDE The displayed ride is the 'default' ride I've adopted for admin purposes. It is however quite possible to walk it and freewheel down hill in possibly under an hour. The actual ride route to be ridden is up for proposal (via the group '25th December' which I've had to create due to the embarrassing absence of official communication options). Fill free to Propose from existing Skyrides, adaptions, or alternatives. Your input here is important as brilliant is always better than an ok ride. My considerations to be balanced. Ability, equipment, weather, time avaliable, So let me know your preferences. Ps I'll be wearing the ride leader high viz yellow jacket. OFFICIAL VIEW ST ANNS - st Ann's Valley Loop, A short hilly ride starting close to the City Centre which climbs east to the top of Nottingham City via an off road cycle path, it's worth the climb with great views at the top. The route then goes along the tree lined back streets of Mapperley before a lovely coast down hill to Stonebridge City Farm, with an opportunity for cake and coffee before returning back to St Ann's Valley Centre. MY REVIEW As St Ann's Valley Loop This is Walking and cycling hilly ride if ridden at 5mph would have a 1 hour duration. ( walking pace = 4mph) I can adjust route if necessary, but this ride will be aimed at achievements not speed. Expect to stop take in the views.
