Nostell Priory
Meet at the front of the House at 10:15am for a 10:30 start.
The Wakefield District Cycling Forum would like to invite you to our "easy" cycle ride from Nostell Priory
Not cycled for a while, or a beginner and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle?
Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding?
Our easy rides are ideal for families, beginners and those wanting to increase their confidence.
We will always go at a pace to suit the steadiest riders and its not too demanding.. You will be in safe hands.
Just the thing to get you out on your bike on a Sunday morning with good company.
The one thing you will find is that we are a warm and friendly group and we make all newcomers welcome.
We cover around 11 miles at an easy pace.
We normally call at Anglers Country Park for a drink at Squires Tea Room, which is a midway point.
This event takes place on the third Sunday in the month.
We use traffic free routes and some quiet roads.
Most rides are best suited to Hybrid or Mountain Bikes.
Road bikes are not recommended.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an appropriate adult.
A limited number of bikes are available to borrow.
There is no charge but bikes must be booked in advance by email: [email protected]
