NR3 2PW

Norwich

If you're fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour. You don't have to go far from Norwich to be on a great ride on country lanes. This ride also uses a large section of Marriots Way, an old railway path which goes out from Norwich to Reepham & Aylsham, with plenty of interesting features and stopping points along the way. The ride will head out to Ringland where we'll stop for refreshment at the Parson Woodforde (home of Wensum Valley Cycling Club) before heading back along Marriotts Way. Please note that this route has some longer stretches of uphill so do expect some hillier sections on route.
