If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
This ride offers you the chance to see some of the sights around the Eaton Park area. The route passes through Eaton Park with its beautiful rose garden, boating lake, small guage railway, bandstand (built in 1928) and modern skatepark and speedway. In Eaton village you will have the chance to see it's historic Red Lion Public House, its 'Elephant' village sign and the thatched roofed St Andrews Church. This route utilises the Lakenham Way cycle path and quiet roads which make for an enjoyable ride for all!
