We hope to to do a loop through Hatchend, northwood hills and back up to Stanmore. The route is not very hilly and the total distance is about 10miles. The aim of the route is to work on speed whilst being out on the open road.
The route is through main roads (which hopefully at that time are not too busy).
This is great ride for building stamina over a short period, which will then help with increasing you ability to go for a longer distance at your regular pace. Giving the sportive was posted today - I'm hoping this will be great incentive to try!
This route is designed to test your muscles and push on a few hills!
We will be riding mainly on main roads through hatched and Northwood hills.
Quick water stop once we get to Northwood hills.
All riders are expected to bring a helmet, water bottles, spare inner tubes and a light snack of needed.
