North Watford Breeze to Lazy Llama Cafe

Starting from the Timberlake Car Park off Radlett Road in North Watford, this route goes through Garston, Bricket Wood and How Wood to the Lazy Llama cafe in Greenwood Park. Toilets are available on site here.

A mixture of on-road and offroad, using tarmac cycleways and shared paths. It is suitable for all bikes although road bikes with slick tyres are not advised due to some uneven and slippery surfaces we will go through. Hybrid, MTB and gravel bikes are all suitable. Please note, if you have a fear of heights we do have to cross three busy roads via overbridges so if this a problem please don't book on as there is no safe crossing point at ground level. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear a helmet as the route goes through some bumpy terrain. Don't forget a drink and a snack, a spare inner tube or two, and some cash or a card for the cafe stop and in case of emergency.

Please be aware that all seating at the cafe is outdoors. If the weather forecast is due to be bad then we may postpone or divert to a different indoor location. Therefore please bring a bike lock with you in case we stop at the alternative cafe instead.

Please arrive by 10:50am so we can run through a riders register and bike checks before we set off.
