Heaton Park, St Margaret's Road entrance Car Park, M25 2GT is the postcode close to the entrance. The car park is approximately 200 metres on the left. Parking is free before 10:00 am however a pay and display system is in the process of being installed.

The ride starts by traveling through the park where we use the main service road passing Heaton Hall before venturing out of the park and along its northern perimeter. We then take a circular route through the fringe of some of north Manchester’s farmland using tracks, quiet roads and cycle paths including the Roch Valley Greenway and the Whitefield cobbles. On return to the park and after a short break, those who wish to, can partake in an additional 4 mile jaunt to enjoy the parks stunning and varied scenery. The route is best suited to bikes with off road tyres.
