MEET AT CHURCH AFTER CYCLING OVER FROM PARKING by 8.45

Thank you for signing up to our Charity bike ride. We are really excited that you are joining us and preparations are well underway to make it an enjoyable event. You have bought a ticket for the 80km ride and you are rider number X. For your ride, riders will start leaving Hamerton at 9am. We will have a car park available for your use and will notify you of the exact location nearer the time.
When you arrive, please register at the desk (in the Churchyard if fine inside the Church if wet) and collect your wristband.
The wristband colour will reflect the route you are taking. For the 11k and 40k route, junctions will be marked with arrows in the same colour as your wristband. For the 80k route, we have assumed cyclists will be using the strava app and so it is not signposted but a map of the route is available at the start and you can take a copy on your phone of that is helpful.
The wristband will entitle you to free water at various stops around the route (locations to be provided on the day) and there will also be an opportunity to buy snacks at the same stops.
A free protein ball will be offered to you once you have your wristband and bacon butties will be available at the start for you and any supporters you have cheering you on to buy.
On your return to Hamerton, there will be a BBQ with a licenced bar. Please encourage your friends and family to join you there for the BBQ even if they haven’t joined you on the ride.
There will be a breakdown service available on the day and details of the number you should call if you need assistance will be handed to you when you register.
