Let's ride to the Hull city skyride! This ride is for experienced cyclists who are comfortable riding at 13-15 mph for up to 60 miles, albeit with short stops at meeting points and a longer stay in Hull. The meeting points with departure times that we will need to adhere to are: Healing School Stallingborough Road – 7.40am Keelby Fork – B1211/Yarborough Road corner – 8.05am Wotton Village Pond – 8.40am Barton upon Humber – South approach to the Humber Bridge on Far Ings Road 9.15am It is expected we will join groups from other parts of North Lincolnshire and then ride into Hull to arrive at Hull City skyride by 10.00am Our group is scheduled to begin the return journey at noon although riders are, of course, free to leave earlier or later. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS RIDE UNLESS YOU FEEL COMPETENT TO DO SO. While riders will be supported we will need to maintain an average speed of 14mph. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult and wear a helmet. Please book for this ride. It would help British Cycling to monitor rider numbers if you could book for the Hull City skyride too. If you have skyride yellow bibs feel free to wear them, particularly for the Humber Bridge crossing and the ride into the city which will make a great sight. It should be a terrific event! Cheers Dave Evans skyride leader
