Night ride to Newark

This ride will start at the bottom of Elm Avenue where we will meet. Hi Viz gear, lights and helmet is essential on this ride. If any rider turns up without these 3 very important regulations you will not be able to ride with us.  Now for the fun bit- we will ride down Elm Avenue back to London road taking a left turn towards Milner street and head towards Bowbridge Road. This will lead us onto a semi main road but well lit with street lights. We will continue our ride down Bowbridge lane around to Staple lane and back onto London Road. Taking our first right turn onto Pinfold lane heading to another right turn onto Main Street where we will ride to Coddington which does include a hill. We will ride towards Sleaford road which is a busy road but has the option of a cycle lane if you wish to use it. Once back in Newark we will finish the ride with a hot drink at the Beaumond cross hotel. This ride is perfect for those who are already confident out on the road at night and for those that want to gain confidence and experience with a Breeze champion on a night ride. This is a steady  ride. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. We really welcome newcomers to our rides.  It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way. Wearing a helmet is compulsory on this ride as well as hi viz gear and lights front and back. Please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments.
