A very enjoyable ride, lovely trails through beautiful woodland and rewarded with the magnificent Newstead Abbey.
No significant hills, however, climbing approx 2000ft (those cheeky ups) equally those lovely downs….

Gravel/MTB/Hybrid tyres.
Mixed trails from Shireoaks along the Canal, through Clumber, Sherwood and onto Newstead Abbey.

Following Route 6….. Mainly traffic free, one short section of road.

Lunch will be at Newstead Abbey, coffee stop at the Dog & Duck at Kings Clipstone.

I’ll be optimistic Suncream, plenty fluids and Scooby snacks to keep you going.

This will be a long day so please don’t book if you have time limitations.

We never leave anyone behind

Coffee at the Dog and Duck Clipstone on the way out, lunch at Newstead Abbey, potentially Ice-Cream on the way back if the weather dictates :)

Helmets are mandatory. Please bring sufficient tools to repair a puncture or any minor mechs on the trails.
