Newport to Penarth Pier

A nice route through Duffryn onto the cycle path and back roads. Avoiding main roads as much as possible. Avoiding the Penarth Hill climb going instead for the zig zag path with an aim of Ice-cream and or Chips on the Pier whats not to enjoy

Cycle routes wherever possible, some road cycling is usually necessary also.

The plan is to cycle to Penarth Pier for chips and Ice-cream.

Please be COVID AWARE and dont ride if you have been in contact with anyone covid positive in the last 7 days. If possible complete a lat flo test beforehand. A good pump and spare inner tube are always a good idea. Helmets are mandatory...NO HELMET = NO RIDE.
