KT8 9AU

This is a joint venture between myself and Angela (also a Breeze ride leader). Angela has very kindly offered to lead us from Westcroft Leisure Centre to Gatwick.
Meet at New Malden Station at 9:00 A different meet place to hopefully ensure no one is doubling back on themselves. We will take the Bee Line to Raynes Park (another possible meeting point) and then make our way to the River Wandle. Following the River down to Westcroft Leisure Centre, where we will meet up with Angela. Angela will lead us to Oaks Park Café where we will stop for coffee. From there we will make our way to Gatwick. There is an unavoidable climb over the north downs, but we will be taking this slowly and happily waiting for anyone at the top (which is most likely I will be the last up!!!). This is approximately 31 miles (measured from Kingston to Gatwick). Please bring plenty of water and snacks. We will get the train back from Gatwick where you can use your Oyster Card. There seems to be no financial advantage in booking the train in advance on a normal ticket. Please note that if there are weather (heat/rain) issues and we will have to rearrange.
Please bear with me getting us to Westcroft Leisure Centre, I have only ridden this once last year with Angela, so navigational errors are very possible!!
Open to all, suitable for ages 16+. Suitable for hybrids, gravel bikes, mountain bikes, not suitable for skinny tyres as there will be paths.
Please bring the following :
• A bike in good working order with tyres pumped to the correct pressure. Please check your brakes work and the chain runs freely. Bring a spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers. A helmet is recommended.
• A drink and a snack
• A cycle lock for use at coffee stop
If you are unable to come on the ride, please cancel your place or message me so the group is not waiting for you.

Meet at Hampton Court for a ride through Littleworth Common, Ardbrook Common, Princes Coverts, Ashstead Common, Epson Common and Horton Country Park

Approximately 22 miles mainly off road on tracks. Hybrid or mountain bike is best. Ride will be around 2.30 to 3 hours depending if we stop for coffee.

Bring a drink and snack as unsure if any coffee places will be open.

Helmets are advised. Please make sure you have a spare inner tube and have done your bike checks.

We never leave anyone behind
