New Forest Country Roads Taster

Fancy pedalling away the stresses of the day? Why not come along and enjoy a 10-12 mile ride along the rolling country lanes. We will be heading out of Lymington riding through a number of beautiful villages and open country side through New Forest. This is an easy-going ride and pace, for anyone wanting to gain confidence riding on country roads and meet new like-minded cyclists.  Follow-on rides with more miles can be taken up after gaining road confidence. Route might vary or be cancelled in accordance to weather forecast. Please ensure you wear bright clothing and dress according to the weather outlook! Please check that your bike is road-worthy.  If you haven’t had it out since last year why not take it to a female friendly bike shop for a service.  It’s a good idea to bring some water, a snack to keep you going and money just in case we stop at a cafe. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind.
