Starting point

CH41 1AL

1st pick up - Hamilton Square Station. 2nd Pick up Eastham Ferry, 3rd Pick up Hooten Station

Today our ride will take us from Hamilton Square Station all along the Wirral Way to Hooton Station, then along the Wirral Way to Little Neston where we shall stop for lunch at my Mums house (she will provide lunch for us all), then continue along the new path along the River Dee onto Ness Gardens. We’ll have a short stop and continue back to Hooten Station. You can get the train back from here to Hamilton Square. This is a longer than normal ride and will take about 5 to 6 hours but if the weather is good it is a super ride and we can keep it steady and have regular breaks. There will be various pick up points if you don’t want to do the whole route which gives you the flexibility of where to join the ride. For the 1st meeting point we shall meet at Hamilton Square station at 10am and there are regular trains from Liverpool and beyond. There is also a car park there for a daily charge of about £3.50 for all day parking. Our first stop to meet others will be Eatham Ferry (outside the Ferry Hotel about 11.15am)  so if you want to join the ride from there that is fine – the meeting time will be 11.15am at the front of the hotel. From here our ride will take us along the cycle route to Hooten station. If you wish to join the ride there we aim to get there for about 12.30 we continue along the cycle path down into Little Neston where we shall stop for lunch about 1.15 at my Mums house. After lunch the ride continues along the River Dee (a new route)  (all off road) onto Ness Gardens where we shall have a short stop arriving back at Hooton station at Approx 3.30pm. You can get the train back to Liverpool/Chester or Birkenhead from here if you need too. The lifts at the station are very good and easy access for you and your bike.  If you need to ask any questions please call me on 07729 114055 or email me at [email protected] Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. Please bring appropriate clothing for the day (eg waterproofs) and as always I hope we won’t need these! Look forward to seeing you there!   Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
