Starting point

Meet Outside the Cornflower Caf
Court Hey Park, Roby Road

National Wildflower Centre, Court Hey Park

This is a lovely sociable ride suitable for beginners and intermediates.

We'll start off at the National Wildflower Centre, based in historic Court Hey Park, and we will also finish here too, where there is a lovely cafe if anyone wants to finish off with tea & cake or even a spot of lunch! From the park its a short ride through a residential area, and quickly onto the Trans Pennine Trail - Route 62.  Once onto the trail we will be traffic free on a lovely peaceful and green route all the way to Halewood Park.  We will have a few mini breaks along the way before looping round and heading back to the Wildflower Centre.

Helmets must be worn by anyone under 18 years.  Younger children must be on a BSA approved child seat fixed to the adult's bike, on a trailer or tag-along bike. Older children on their own bikes must be able to ride confidently without stabilisers. Dress appropriately for the weather: in cool weather it's good to wear lots of thin layers, so you can add/remove them as needed; a rain jacket is a good idea too. Please bring along a puncture repair kit/spare inner tube - Breeze leaders will try and help you out, but we're not experts on bicycle maintenance. Breeze really welcomes new riders, bring a friend or come on your own - don't worry if you don't know anyone, we're a friendly bunch. Its a great way to get back on your bike and join like-minded women, get fit and make some new friends along the way, we always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind!

Look forward to meeting you
