National Trust - Clumber Plus Challenge

This is a slightly more challenging ride around the park at Clumber and will run alongside the easy one. The route will be approximately 6 - 7 miles long. However, there will be the option of an additional 3 - 4 miles if you can keep up the pace. Everyone sets off together and if there is natural split in the group we take it from there. This will enable those who want a push to go a bit further while those who want to chat can keep going steadily. There may be charge to enter the park for non- National Trist members. However, if you tell the person on the gate you are participating in the Ladies Cycleabout, you will probably be let off the charge. Refunds may be arranged at the cycle hire's discretion. Due to the time of year, expect mud, although we'll try our best to avoid it. Wearing a helmet is advisable. If you don't have one please do not to worry you can borrow one from the cycle hire shop. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. We really welcome newcomers to our rides. It's a good idea to bring water, a snack and some money. Need a bike? Bike hire is available for a discounted rate of £2 as this ride is run through the National Trust. Book on the ride to reserve your bike. There will be a men's ride running alongside these two Breeze rides so you can get your driver active too and meet up at the end for a drink. Look forward to seeing you there!
